The World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA), in collaboration with the Turkish Branch of WVPA, is pleased to offer up to 20 travel grants (500 EUR each) to support participation in the 3rd WVPA Africa & Middle East Meeting 2026, Istanbul, Türkiye, 2–4 September 2026.
These grants aim to promote the participation of scientists and WVPA Branch representatives from the Africa and Middle East region.
Purpose of the Grant
The travel grant is intended to provide partial financial support for participants presenting their research and contributing to the scientific program of the congress.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Have an accepted abstract (oral or poster) at the congress
- Be the presenting author
- Be from the Africa and Middle East region or represent a WVPA Branch in this region
- Commit to attending the congress in person
- Submit a complete application before the deadline
Selection Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on:
- Scientific merit of the abstract
- Type of presentation (oral presentations prioritized)
- Career stage (priority to early-career researchers)

- The registration fee will be deducted from the grant amount

Conditions
- Only one grant per person
