Necmettin Ceylan

Necmettin Ceylan is currently a Professor at the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture of Ankara University, Turkey. He received both his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Ankara University. He has conducted laying hen researches during his stay at University of Nebraska, USA between years 1996-1998 as post doc.  His researches in poultry nutrition actively involved in applied nutrition trials of broilers and laying hens. He has published  35 peer reviewed papers in web of science journals, over 40 published articles and 45 abstracts in national and international conferences and meetings.  He has spoken at more than 15 national and international conferences and seminars as invited speaker. His latest research interest was primarily focused on effects of nutritional strategies to improve heat stress tolerance and gut health of broilers and layers.

*Member of Working Group 2 (Nutrition) of WPSA since 2011

*Nutrition Consultant of Al Jazeera Company, Jordan for 6 years (2018-2024)

*Nutrition and R&D Consultant of  BEYPİLİÇ , one of the biggest Broiler and Layer Company in Turkey, since 2019-

*Chair of International Poultry Meat Congress held in Turkey, each 2 years (The 8th will be 14-18 April of 2027)
